You remember those days, right? When you were forced to take a bath, maybe a couple of siblings got thrown in there too. People still enjoy (grown people) taking a bath, and I'm not talking about standing inside a bathtub to take a shower, I'm talking about relaxing in one with bath salts and music. Bathtubs also come in handy for anyone with a toddler.
Free standing bathtub units are the most sought after tubs currently. It's hard not to like the look of them. Houzz stated that by having one of these tubs in your primary bathroom, it will help you sell the home but you have to sell the home first in order to pay for it. It was quite the conundrum.
Going with a new acrylic bathtub and wall surround is going to be the most common and we feel best practice. This gives you an updated look, a deeper tub that can stand the test of time.
We do not recommend steel tubs, they chip and rust. We also do not recommend cast iron tubs, our installers like their backs and refuse to break them for a cast iron tub. We will however remove a cast iron tub (with a sledge hammer) to put a new acrylic tub in for you.
