This was a beautiful master bathroom that needed an updated look to match the rest of the home. We removed their existing shower and bathtub to build a deck that connected the two to create one big functional bathing experience. For the shower we remodel the existing seperator wall from the left vanity and shower to create it into a half (pony) wall to open up the room. We then used the Schluter Kerdi Tile System for the backing of the tile. For the shower base we used the Onyx Collection. The result was gorgeous.
For the Bathtub, we removed their existing alcove corner tub and replaced it with a drop in oval tub. We had to create a tub deck in order to do this and topped the tub deck with all new Quartz that matched their new countertops.
One of the challenges of the design in this one is the customer wanted something to give it an extra oomph near the bathtub area. In order to exceed expectations, we match the shape of their existing window and put it on the bathub side to create an accent and also shelf space. It was a really fun concept and the customer loved it.
