The customer wanted to remove their existing garden tub and shower and replace it with a large shower experience in their master bathroom. Since the architectural benches came out all the way to the edge of the shower base, the difficulty was the door.
With the benches being out all the way, we were not able to hinge the door to anything load baring. A way around this was to use a thicker glass and hinge glass on glass. Similar to what you would see in a commercial building. We feel that this really gave the shower a wow look.
