Zero Threshold Walk In Shower Remodel

Zero Threshold Shower

This customer was wheel chair bound and in need of a shower that can be easily accessible.  He had a giant wet area to use where the bathtub was and we decided that would be the best place to put in a zero threshold walk in shower.  We used 2 x 2 tiles on the shower floor and 12 x 24 crema marfil porcelain tiles polished from Arizona Tile on the wall surround.  

Vanities

We installed new Bishop cabinets on her side and on his side we put in a free floating porcelain sink that was easy to roll up to and wash his hands.  Where the shower used to be, we provided and installed 2 tall linen cabinets by Bishop.  

Flooring

For the flooring we used 12 x 24 matte tiles of the crema marfil porcelain tiles.  

Unique Mentions

We had to have a welder custom weld the bench for this application to get it just right for the customer.  It was a unique experience.
